THORNLEA Secondary School is the FIRST NJC Champion!

They came to win it all!
Thornlea Secondary School came to the Nation's Capital to win!
Going into the NJC Championship Finals with a 10-1 record, Thornlea went on to win their pool play games 89-80 vs Bill Crothers Secondary School and 73-60 over Michael Power-St. Joseph High School, sending them to the final against Crestwood Preparatory College!
The finals did not disappoint with both teams showing everyone exactly why they were there! A back and forth battle for most of the game but Thornlea pulled away in the 4th quarter to win the FIRST NJC title 86-78.
Congratulations to Thornlea Coaches Sean Bookal, Shane James, Nizam Alkins, Chris Skinner and the entire Thornlea Secondary School Junior Boys Team!
